I remember my grandma rearing chickens in our ancestral home when I was a kid. I did not think much of it until I came across this presentation by Sarah Gilbert.
Her family discovered form rearing chickens, how to tread lightly on earth. Would I be rearing chickens soon? Not lightly. But Sarah's story did get me thinking what I can do to get my family to see things differently enough to be aware and care for the environment.
